Amber Stewart grew up in rural Dorset, England, and escaped as soon as she could to study Russian literature at the University of London. However, she never got over her childhood joy of reading Winnie-the-Pooh and—since graduating many moons ago—she has enjoyed an ongoing career in children’s publishing, as well as her own writing career.
