Chris Lucas is a mathematics teacher who now lives and worksin Lancashire. His love of foreign travel has taken him to more than fortycountries, including many in the Middle East. He first moved there in the1980's to work at a school in Turkey and has been continually drawn back tothat part of the world over the years by its friendly people, breathtakingbeauty and unparalleled contrasts.
