Scam at the Ranches

A borrowed Porsche. A baseball bat. A dead woman who hadn't been who she seemed. Jack Rhodes hadn't been meant to be a part of it, but once he was, he couldn't walk away. He started pulling on a thread that dragged him beneath San Francisco's polished surface, into a world where men who had believed themselves "e;untouchable"e; became the quiet victims of vigilante justice. And what began with one death quickly led to kidnapping, trafficking, and a deadly entanglement with a dangerous cartel. Jack had to find a way to help Auntie Mei and Clara Baxter the elegant, implacable leaders of a discreet network save the thirty-eight helpless, stolen women held by predator Vincent Raines in his scattered ranches across the remote California hills. Jack needed every one of his unique skills as a forensic analyst and MMA fighter just to have a chance of making it out alive.
