Church and Civil Society

This collection of essays examines the relationship between theology, church, state, politics and civil society. It focuses on the tension between the churches responsibilities and contractual obligations as a service provider as opposed to a commitment to being an agent of social justice, advocacy and responsive action for people who are disadvantaged and marginalised.
