I Nina is a graphic novel adaptation of Nobel and Man Booker Prize winner Olga Tokarczuk’s book Anna in the Tombs of the World. The story is based on the ancient Sumerian myth of Goddess Innana’s journey into the Underworld. Daniel Chmielewski deftly transports the narrative into a near-future dystopia where humanity survives in a hermetically sealed multi-level world. As society slowly decays under a 'social currency' regime, Nina, 'no-one,' becomes the focus of long-buried revolutionary energies that could change everything.
