Michelle Rose Gilman has been an educator for 30 years. She founded Fusion Academy, a private, alternative high school in 1989, now with 50 campuses across the nation. Dedicated to empowering women of all ages, she coaches and mentors women in business through her company, The Well-Heeled Warrior. Michelle sits on the board for 5 non-profit organizations, all of them dedicated to enhancing the lives of those in need. She has authored and co-authored 8 books, including blogging for the Huffington Post. She has been an artist her whole life and owns Featherpunk Studio. Michelle resides in San Diego, CA, with her husband and is the proud parent of The Super Youth, aka, her son.Peter Mikulecky's path has been long and winding, with turns as a soldier, scientist, teacher, principal, writer and occasional maker of shoes. He has been the primary author for three books, and continues to teach and mentor young women and men. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he likes to think he has imported a bit of boyish Midwestern charm to his home in San Diego, and his wife allows him that thought. When not writing or teaching, he can be found over the stove or in his garage workshop, stitching leather.In case you were wondering, Peter and Michelle are happily married.
