Beskrivning
One jump to save all time.Sixteen-year-old Dan Renfrew is an ordinary teenager living an ordinary life—until he accidentally transports himself to England in the year 1066. Stranded nearly a thousand years in the past, Dan makes an astonishing discovery: he's descended from a secret lineage of time jumpers, guardians of history who travel through the centuries to correct disruptions in the time stream before they alter the future. But getting home won't be easy. Dan must first restore history to its proper course, and he's landed in one of England's most turbulent years. A Viking army is ravaging the north, Norman forces are preparing to invade from the south, and newly crowned King Harold Godwinson is desperately struggling to defend his throne.Caught between invading armies and the political turmoil of Anglo-Saxon England, Dan must navigate a dangerous world where one wrong move could change history forever. And the greatest threat isn't necessarily the one advancing across the battlefield.A ruthless faction of time jumpers is manipulating the past for wealth and power, threatening to unravel the future itself. To stop them, Dan must confront enemies who know far more about time travel than he does—and discover whether an ordinary teenager has what it takes to become one of history's secret heroes.
