Making Solid Contact

One would think that a book with a picture of a baseball player on the front cover would be essentially about baseball. However, Making Solid Contract covers a wider variety of topics including being drafted into the army and serving during the Vietnam War. Throughout the story, the author, a former college baseball player, relates the main character''s reliance on his relationship with God as he encounters problems with people, situations, and adversity.
