Very readable, good general background for those completely new to the subject... after reading this, you will be prepared for more specific texts covering hands-on how-to if that's your interest. You will be able to ask intelligent questions at least. I found this very worthwhile as I am trying to learn about investing and found even beginner texts on that topic too steep because I didn't have the lay of the land yet. This is a good place for a complete newb to start.

Really a best seller knowledge ...
This book is really based on practical scenarios. I too has faced smiliar situations while investing in stock market. It give insights how to overcome those situations. The most powerful thing is that it's based on Indian stock market. Knowledge of author & views are outstanding.
