When you're the last to know the truth about your entire life.  And the one you loved the most kept it from you.  Can she learn to love again after that?  And more importantly, can she learn to love him again... Billie loves Trip but doesn't know it.  She's in elementary school, sharing a class with her favorite person, yet neither of them is old enough to realize the serendipity.  Bonding over her mom's cookies and cakes, the two of them grow into lovers, but nobody knows which is sweeter.  When separation looms between her parents, there is even more division.  Billie chooses her father and closes off all communication with those she grew to love as a child, including Trip. Trip knows a secret about Billie, and when he tries to help her figure it out, it backfires, leaving him without the only girl he's ever loved.  She moves away, breaking his heart.  They never speak again.  When Billie's mom Tonya realizes a dream and opens a bakery, Trip is right there, feeling a connection to her, despite the distance between Tonya and Billie.  But when Trip finds love again, tragedy strikes in Billie's distant life, forcing her to return to her hometown temporarily, throwing Trip into a tailspin.   It may blow up in Trip's face.  The ship has sailed.  Or will it be the best mistake Billie and Trip ever make?
