Professor Rizzo has published over 200 articles on vitreoretinal diseases and 10 chapters in vitreoretinal books, 2 of which he served as Editor.Carl Awh is President of Tennessee Retina, a 14-physician private retina practice headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Awh is a Past-President of the American Society of Retina Specialists and a charter inductee of the Retina Hall of Fame. He has 28 issued or pending U.S. Patents for vitreoretinal surgical devices and treatments.
