He was appointed clinical professor in 2001. He was the past President, Society for Laser Surgery & Medicine and also member of the Aesthetic procedure oversight committee member of the Singapore Medical Councl in 1995. She was a Dermatology trainee at Bristol Royal Infirmary, Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust, and  Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. She completed her specialist training in the UK before returning to Singapore to work at the National Skin Centre in 2011. She is currently a Senior Consultant. She is the Chief of the Dermatological Surgery and Laser Unit, and Deputy Chief of the Skin Cancer Unit at National Skin Centre.
