Her research spans artificial intelligence, privacy-preserving machine learning, big data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), and smart and connected health. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles in these areas. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Farahani has extensive experience in research consulting, technology strategy, and the development of data-driven solutions across sectors such as healthcare, smart infrastructure, industrial IoT systems, and AI-integrated platforms.
