Dogs in Art

Follow Harriet the museum cat on a tour through the world of art—with dogs in the spotlight!

The museum has put together a very special exhibition… all about dogs in art! Harriet, the resident museum cat, isn’t thrilled about dogs stealing the show—but she’s just curious enough to take a look.

As she strolls through the galleries (with plenty of catty comments along the way), Harriet introduces us to more than 30 artworks throughout history from around the world—from classic paintings to modern street art. You’ll meet famous artists like Frida Kahlo, Banksy, Keith Haring, and Jeff Koons, and spot dogs in sculptures, photos, indigenous art and even graffiti.

With colorful illustrations, fun facts, and surprising stories, Dogs in Art is a joyful introduction to the history of art for kids. It explores different styles and time periods, while showing that museums can be exciting, playful, and full of furry friends.
