Prepositional adverbs in Romance

This volume gathers the results of an investigation into prepositional adverbials such as Fr. à la dure 'the hard way' and Sp. de seguro 'certainly' in five substandard varieties of Romance modern languages: Canada (Quebec), Italy (Campania), Mexico (Xalapa, Aguascalientes), Romania (Banat), Spain (Andalusia). The field research revealed striking variations between secondary dialects and primary dialects.
