Spott, Musik Und Politik

Scholarly engagement with the Greek comedy of the fifth and fourth centuries BCE uniquely reflects the paradigm shift that has taken place in philological and literary studies research in recent decades. This volume contains works on Greek comedy written by Bernhard Zimmermann over four decades, focusing on the formal, performance-related, anthropological, and political aspects of Greek comedy.
