Cancer Chemotherapy: an Introduction

This introductory text to the drug treatment of cancer is now presented in a completely new edition. Two new chapters on the safe handling of cytotoxic drugs and biological response modifiers have been added, whereas other chapters on the team approach to treatment have been greatly reduced and revised. New emphasis is placed on the present role, achievements and limitations of chemotherapy in the management of individual tumour types. A selected bibliography points to the most important recent contributions to the literature.
