Operations Research Proceedings 1996

This is an insight into research results on operations research - nowadays covering an wide range of topics. Although problems of a primarily methodological nature are discussed, the emphasis is placed firmly on practical subjects, such as reports from the fields of environmental protection, logistics and traffic engineering. The selection also clearly illustrates the extent to which operations research is spreading into other scientific disciplines like economics, information systems, computer science and mathematics.
