Der Band vereint Beiträge zu kolonialer Erinnerung, Geschlechtergewalt, Identität, Sprache und Didaktik. Analysiert werden unter anderem Max Annas' Berlin, Siegesallee, literarische und filmische Darstellungen kolonialer Gewalt in Namibia, Katharina Volckmers The Appointment sowie Studien zu Mehrsprachigkeit, Phraseologie und dem Einsatz afro-deutscher Slam Poetry im Unterricht. Der Schwerpunkt „Luther in Afrika" beleuchtet die Rezeption reformatorischen Denkens in afrikanischen Kontexten.This volume brings together contributions on colonial memory, gender-based violence, identity, language, and didactics. It includes analyses of Max Annas' Berlin, Siegesallee, literary and cinematic representations of colonial violence in Namibia, Katharina Volckmer's The Appointment, as well as studies on multilingualism, phraseology, and the use of Afro-German slam poetry in language teaching. The focus on „Luther in Africa" explores the reception of Reformation thought in African contexts.
