Scientific Study from the year 2018 in the subject Psychology - Miscellaneous, grade: -, , language: English, abstract: This research study revolves around the probable effect of emotions on the memory of teenagers (aged 17 to 19). The site of sample collection and consequent testing was Lahore Grammar School Johar Town located in Lahore, Pakistan with a student body of approximately 540 children. Our hypothesis claimed that "e;valence of vocal emotion will have an effect on the short term recollection of acoustically encoded prose"e;. Recordings of a child recounting his morning in four different emotions were used and a comprehensive memory test was subsequently administered to test the amount of recollection (memory). The results produced supported earlier contention and highlighted the difference when comparing neutral and negative emotion groups.
