Havel Cycle Path, from the Quelle to the Mündung

The 390 km long Havel cycle path leads along unique landscapes and numerous sights from the source of the Havel near Ankershagen to the confluence with the Elbe near Gnevsdorf through Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt. From Mühlensee, the official starting point of the cycle path, you cycle along the Havel source lakes through the natural paradise of the Mecklenburg Small Lake District. There are also memorials, palaces, museums and, last but not least, metropolises such as Berlin and Potsdam along the way. Picturesque villages with half-timbered houses and medieval town centers invite you to visit as well as the unique nature of the Havelland.
