Sans Famille

This book is the portrayal of the society at that time: rural bankruptcy, hard work of workers under poor working conditions, sharp increase in the number of child labor and cruel exploitation under the permission of the law. This book enables the children to experience the separation of relatives, poverty, starvation and freezing together with their abandoned child Remy, as well as the sincere feelings of teachers and apprentices, friends and relatives, and grow up with the growth of the little hero.
