    Beskrivning

What's in the basket?Toy friends Hoppy, Woolly, and Tweety wake up in a beautiful new place. They hear a little voice say, “What’s in the basket?” as they begin to explore their lush surroundings. In and around the bright green grass they discover chocolate treats, decorated Easter eggs, ribbons, and other treasures. Soft textures, liftable flaps, a hidden egg on each page, and a surprise ending that answers the titular question will encourage engagement and rereading, in this sweet and sturdy board book perfect for Easter and springtime. Hone Fine Motor Skills: Lifting the flaps encourages the development of essential fine motor skills for little hands.Tactile Engagement: Touch-and-feel elements encourage sensory exploration, helping toddlers engage with the book beyond just listening.Search-and-Find Play Pattern: Hidden eggs on each spread add a seek-and-find element. Encourages Re-reading: Clues on each page and a final reveal will encourage children to read the book again and again to re-discover the surprise.Perfect Holiday Gift: This engaging board book will make the holiday even more special. Ideal for Home, Travel, or Holiday Gatherings: A festive, playful, and surprising screen-free book to keep kids happily entertained during the busy holiday. For more than 75 years, Albatros Media has been crafting original and innovative children’s books that are both playful and educational, fostering curiosity and a love of learning in young minds. Mer om författaren

Susan Marston has had a lifelong love of children’s books—as a child, a babysitter, a teacher, and, for twenty-five years, as editorial director of the Junior Library Guild. Susan says that while writing What Color Is Your Favorite Month?, she and Stepanka shared the goal of playfully capturing the essence of each month of the year so beautifully represented in Magdalena’s illustrations. Susan’s favorite month is March, and the colors she thinks of are inspired by her mother’s garden, where yellow daffodils on green stems are often topped by a sparkling dollop of white snow. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.Alina Slyshik is a children's book illustrator from Eastern Europe who loves drawing character-driven illustrations using fun color combinations and textures, which makes her art unique and full of life. Her favorite characters in illustrations are children, animals, and whimsical creatures. She enjoys watching bizarre movies, reading books, and playing video games. In a parallel universe, she sees herself as a detective solving crimes or a marine biologist looking for undiscovered underwater creatures. She lives in Bratislava, Slovakia.
