Salvatore Lilla, Dr.phil. (1958) in Classics, Università di Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore, D.Phil (1962) in Theology, Oxford University, was scriptor of the Vatican Library, and is Professor at the Patristic Institute Augustinianum, Rome. He has edited catalogues of Greek manuscripts in the Vatican Library and published extensively on Platonic philosophy and its influence on early Christian literature.Hubertus R. Drobner, Dr.phil.
