Paola Volpe Cacciatore is Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of Salerno and current President of the International Plutarch Society. The themes of her research concern Plutarch’s Moralia, Greek tragedy, reception of Plutarchean work in the Humanism, revival of tragedy in modern and contemporary age. She has published many papers on Plutarch, especially on Regum et imperatorum apophthegmata.Fabio Tanga (Ph.D. in Classical Philology, Post-Doctoral Fellow, Adjunct Professor and Research Assistant at the University of Salerno and Universidad de Málaga) takes part in Academic Research Projects and International Conferences on Ancient Greek Literature. He has published the volume Plutarco. La virtù delle donne (Mulierum virtutes).
