Irma Ratiani, Doctor of Philology, Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Head of the Department of General and Comparative Literary Studies, Director of the TSU Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature and, President of Georgian Comparative Literature Association (GCLA). Her research interests include Georgian literature within a broad literary and theoretical context. She is the author of significant works including Georgian Literature and the World Literary Process (Peter Lang GmbH, 2018).
