Bertus de Villiers is a Visiting Professor of the Law School of the University of Johannesburg. He is a Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Germany. Professor De Villiers has travelled widely, undertaking research and lecturing on constitutional and political developments in various countries. He has published on a wide range of constitutional matters, in particular topics dealing with indigenous rights, federalism, human rights, minority rights, and land reform.
