As it is a fictional story in parts, reality and imagination are mixed up. The topic of the novel is to show the impact of dating online and its consequences. The name of the author is a pseudonym as she wants to remain anonymous. However, she wants to share her experiences to make other people aware of the jungle which is dating online.
