The fog hangs thick over the streets of London. Out of work, Sherlock Holmes has sunk deep into his cocaine addiction. Only a criminal investigation can get him back on track.
The solution comes in the form of a young woman. Mary Morstan's father has been missing for ten years, and four years after his disappearance, she began receiving a large, shimmering pearl sent to her by post every year.
