Fan and ventilation company Systemair started production in 1974 on the ground floor of a residential property in the town of Skinnskatteberg in Bergslagen, Sweden. 50 years later, the company has become a global group and Europe s largest manufacturer of ventilation products. Its head office is still in Skinnskatteberg. This is the story of a seemingly simple technological innovation which, thanks to timing and entrepreneurship, has formed the basis of a business venture that has astonished stock market analysts.
