This book tries to fill the gap where China's Asia-Pacific Strategy is looked at and trend lines are traced on China's strategy and its implications for the region. It seeks to see how China looks at the medley of relations in the Asia-Pacific. One of the central ideas guiding this research is that it is unhelpful to see China's rise in twin binary dispositions, viz., China as belligerent or China as benevolent.
