Stochastic Dynamic Response Analysis and Performance-Based Seismic Safety Evaluation for High Concrete Faced Rockfill Dams

Xu Bin, Professor at the School of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. He has led four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and over 30 other projects. He has published more than 100 papers, including over 50 SCI-indexed and over 70 EI-indexed papers. His main research interests include the engineering properties and numerical simulation methods of coarse-grained soils, seismic safety assessment methods for high earth-rock dams and geotechnical engineering, stochastic dynamic analysis, reliability analysis methods, and disaster prevention and reduction in high earth-rock dams and offshore engineering for nuclear power plants. He has received over 20 awards and honors in various fields.Pang Rui, Associate Professor at the School of Infrastructure Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. He has published more than 80 papers, including over 60 SCI-indexed and over 70 EI-indexed papers. His main research interests include uncertainty and reliability in hydraulic rock-soil engineering, intelligent monitoring and smart maintenance of hydraulic structures, intelligent construction and digital twin technology in water conservancy engineering, and offshore wind power and marine geotechnical engineering. He has received over 10 awards and honors in various fields.
