Born in the Czech Republic in 2002, Eliška Hozáková, who is now about to graduate from Charles University in Prague with a degree in Pedagogy, began writing poetry in both Czech and English in high school as a way of expressing her inner world. A lover of sport, travel and art, she says of herself, ‘I have the heart of an athlete andthe soul of an artist’.
