God the Father

Who is God the Father? Many know Him as the Creator of heaven and earth, the Almighty who spoke the universe into existence. Yet He is far more than the infinite God who rules over all creation. He is a real Father—personal, loving, compassionate, and intimately involved in the lives of His children. From the beginning, the Father has desired a family. Long before humanity fell into sin, He had already established His glorious plan of redemption, sending His Son so that all who believe might be adopted into His household and cry, "e;Abba, Father."e; He is neither distant nor indifferent, neither harsh nor abusive. He is the perfect Father who provides, protects, disciplines, restores, and loves with an everlasting love. Yet His love never compromises His holiness. The Father is righteous, just, and utterly opposed to sin, wickedness, and evil. He calls His children to walk in truth, purity, and obedience, revealing both His tender mercy and His majestic authority. He is the Holy One before whom every knee will bow and every tongue confess His greatness.
