Rise of the Immortal Queen

In a world where immortals rule from the shadows, Temperance, a royal-born Geto-Dacian, finds herself torn between two paths. When she discovers during her first human cycle that she is the new Reqwm, the Queen, her world fractures. Torn between experiencing the normalcy of human school, parties, and friendships, and the crushing responsibility of ruling her people, she is forced into a dangerous balancing act. Her journey grows even more perilous when she learns two truths: the Yestisis, the Geto-Dacian Council, want her dead, and she has fallen in love with a human. Now, Temperance stands at the heart of impossible choices. Will she submit to the will of the Yestisis, or assert her rightful claim as their leader? Will she wipe the Venatores, the hunters, from existence, or strive for peace with them? Will she abandon her forbidden love for a human and let him slip away, or risk both their lives by embracing it? And if she does, will she break the ancient law by turning him into a Geto-Dacian, or condemn him to remain fragile and mortal? Above all, one question looms: should she follow the butterflies, the mysterious forces tugging at her soul? They pull, they push, they guide… but toward salvation, or toward ruin?
