Book of Dagon

Something ancient lurks beneath the waves…and it is waiting for you… H.P. Lovecraft's Dagon is the giant amphibious horror who spawned Deep Ones, hybrids which look human early in life but gradually take on their sire's monstrous form. Lovecraft created the mythology surrounding these beings in his stories "e;Dagon"e; and "e;The Shadow Over Innsmouth"e;, and the nightmarish fish-people have been inspiring weird fiction ever since. In The Book of Dagon, seven Neo-Mythos writers known for cosmic horror explore aquatic terrors: C.T. Phipps (Cthulhu Armageddon), Matthew Davenport (The Adventures of Andrew Doran), David Niall Wilson (The Call of Distant Shores) David Hambling (the Harry Stubbs series), David J West (Let Sleeping Gods Lie), Andrea Pearson (Mosaic Chronicles) and Philip Hemplow (Sarcophagus, Exoteric). The stories revisit Innsmouth itself, and the events leading up to and following its destruction. Others range wider, chronicling encounters in the Wild West, and in seemingly peaceful South London. There is horror out on the ocean, and on a routine business trip to a small town in Utah. The Book of Dagon is the latest in the acclaimed Books of Cthulhu series inviting you to face the terrifying creatures that lurk just beyond the edge of human understanding.
