Dobo For Club And Country: Martin Dobson's Autobiography

Martin Dobson is one of a rare breed of professional footballers who achieved legendary status at two top-flight clubs, as well as the pride of playing with Three Lions on his chest for England. Having brushed off early rejection by Bolton Wanderers as a youngster, Dobson developed into a cultured midfielder, amassing over four hundred appearances for Burnley in two spells that sandwiched a hugely impressive career at Everton Football Club, where Toffees supporters nicknamed him Sir Dobo - The Goodison Aristocrat. This book, written by Martin himself, gives a wonderful insight into life as an elite footballer in the Sixties and Seventies and his unique memories.
