AnnaMarie has spent most of her life as a nurse. She works on the geriatric ward of the hospital and one of her colleagues happens to notice the high mortality rate while she is on shift. He is not looking to tell anyone, instead he is looking for recruits. Calvin, the coroner, has a plan. MAiD - Medical Assistance in Dying is a way out for the desperate, or a major business opportunity for a select team. For AnnaMarie to get out of her job, she first needs to deal with some co-workers. To get away clean, Calvin needs to call in a favor to a man he has never met. The operation starts as intended, but soon the favor is called in.
