Mindfulness Moments Downloaded from Within

When the world stands still and your body breaks, where do you find the strength to begin again?A severe concussion after an unexpected accident affected Gabriella's brain. Half a year later, a major ankle surgery stole their mobility. Recovery was a slow process, and the life she knew faded away. Slow doesn't necessarily mean still, though, because Gabriella started observing the natural world in her garden with a new perspective. She started doing short nature walks and then immersing herself even more in nature by gardening and doing creative activities. She felt the transformation. This book is a raw, poetic, and inspiring journey of this beautiful soul, putting herself back together with intuition and cultivating self-love. One step at a time, the author walked outside in her garden, in the woods, to heal. Through the grounding touch of the earth and practicing mindfulness, she found a way back into the light. You can feel the love for everything elemental and natural seeping through the pages, like a love letter to the healing magic of nature. This book offers inspiration that whoever needs it will find their way again."e;As the editor of this book, I also walked with Gabriella, in real life. We shared some of those healing nature walks with the author during her visits.  I witnessed firsthand her optimism, respect for nature, and her magical recovery. She's been teaching me that when we slow down, nature and friendship will always catch us. I am so grateful for our forest walks in Hungary and across continents."e;— Gabriela Trofin-Tatár, Editor
