Deep in the middle of the wilderness, a lonely inventor works on his latest creation: a mechanical insect that can fly for over a hundred miles without stopping. When the forest around him becomes engulfed in flames, however, he soon discovers he is not the only one working on such devices.This is a short story from a collection titled, "e;Corridors"e;.
