A long time ago an entire ethnic group faced mass extinction at the hands of a king who ironically had ancestry in him from this group. This group was called the Sephardic. They fled in all directions, with some moving to France where they met a closely related group called the Zarphatic who were glad to help. To survive, they hide a lot about themselves, these people who did this became known as the Anusim.
