Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live, love and possibly die in a time you've read about in history books by time traveling? Reading this novel, you will travel to the 17th century, where the Manhanset Indians on Shelter Island are living their last days as the European ships are arriving at an increasing number from the ocean horizon. This becomes more complicated when pirates and Indian families from elsewhere add to the complexity of cultural displacement.
