Seven Days Spent with Laplace's Witch

After former police officer Katsushi Tsukizawa is murdered, his son Rikuma finds documents in his house with the name of an unfamiliar woman on them. Unsure as to what this might mean, Rikuma begins to investigate the stranger with his best friend Junya, which eventually leads them to a young girl with strange powers—Madoka Uhara. In a world where AI-enhanced surveillance systems are making it harder for police to continue doing their jobs, Madoka seems to know something the two boys don’t, and she guides Rikuma to find out the truth behind his father’s death for himself.
