Wafa’ Tarnowska is an acclaimed children’s author and translator whose multicultural books bridge East and West. Her award-winning titles, Nour’s Secret Library and The Arabian Nights for Barefoot Books, celebrate diversity and introduce children to the cultures of the Middle East. Her upcoming book Our World: Lebanon invites toddlers to spend a day in the beautiful country of Lebanon. Ruaida Mannaa is a Colombian Lebanese illustrator and designer with an MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She works with clients worldwide, creating art shaped by her Lebanese heritage. Growing up surrounded by different languages, loud celebrations, nostalgic poetry, and vibrant meals, Ruaida believes her culture is her greatest source of inspiration.
