Wafa’ Tarnowska is an award-winning writer, translator and storyteller. She was born in Lebanon and has worked and lived in several countries from India, to Australia, to the UAE as well as Cyprus and Lebanon. She currently lives between the UK and Poland, writing, translating books and documentaries and offering storytelling sessions in English and Arabic. Wafa' sees herself as a cultural bridge between East and West, and has written two other award-winning titles for Barefoot Books: Nour's Secret Library and The Arabian Nights. Ruaida Mannaa is a Colombian Lebanese illustrator and designer with an MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She works with clients worldwide, creating art shaped by her Lebanese heritage. Growing up surrounded by different languages, loud celebrations, nostalgic poetry, and vibrant meals, Ruaida believes her culture is her greatest source of inspiration.
