Heart's Journey

In the span of a moment, Genny Jones''s life is turned upside down when she receives devastating news about her brother serving in Iraq. In the wake of losing her parents and grandparents, Brandon is the only family she has-until now. Genny is left wondering why God has left her alone in the world.

Paul Thompson receives a call from Genny, his best friend''s sister, telling him that her brother has been killed. He pushes his grief aside to carry out the promise he made to Brandon years earlier. Paul agreed to help Genny if anything happened to him. When Paul realizes he''s in over his head, he and Genny make a decision that will follow them for the rest of their lives.
