It is 1876 and the quiet, peaceful town of Kortbeke, Switzerland is about to be visited by an evil the likes of which no one has ever seen. A creature of cunning, strength, and power moves through the darkened streets, hunting its prey, searching for someone who has eluded it for many years.  A simple bar owner, along with the town drunk, a pair of young lovers and a priest who hides a dark and deadly secret from his past, must team up to bring down the infernal beast before it spreads its evil throughout their otherwise idyllic town. When the darkest night of all comes to Kortbeke, can the all-powerful, seemingly indestructible creature of the night be vanquished once and for all? Or will the streets run red with the blood of innocents? No one is safe, man, woman, or child. All must prepare for battle.
