If I Go Quiet

There's no warrant, and the retreat's lawyer is filing harassment complaints. So a detective makes Leslie an offer: go inside as a health authority consultant, use her clinical eye, and find William.Behind the sage smoke she finds integration rooms wired like recording studios, drugged sessions that pry loose guests' deepest secrets, and a soundproofed Quiet Room for anyone who asks the wrong questions. Now a recovering addict is surrounded by drugs, locked in, and running out of time. And the hardest honesty she owes isn't to the police. It's to her pregnant wife, waiting at home.A sapphic medical thriller you can finish in one evening, from a former psychiatrist and Chanticleer Clue Awards shortlisted author. For readers who love cult-retreat suspense, flawed heroines in recovery, and clinical detail that feels real.Step inside Ascension Grove. Just don't drink the tea.
