Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich BWL - Allgemeines, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Aufgrund der momentanen Veranderungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt und der Aktualitat des Themas beschaftigt sich diese Arbeit mit dem Instrument der Prozesskostenrechnung. Ziel dieser Arbeit wird es sein, mithilfe der Entstehungsgeschichte die Entwicklung des Begriffs Prozesskostenrechnung aufzuzeigen und den Ablauf bei der Anwendung darzustellen. Des Weiteren soll diese Arbeit weitestgehend klaren, inwiefern die Prozesskostenrechnung Moglichkeiten aufzeigt, die Kostenpotenziale und Ineffizienzen zu identifizieren. Um das Ziel dieser Arbeit zu erreichen und eine ubersichtliche Struktur zu schaffen, gliedert sich die vorliegende Arbeit in sechs Kapitel. Nach der Einleitung erfolgen im folgenden Kapitel die Begriffseingrenzung sowie die Entstehungsgeschichte der Prozesskostenrechnung. Darauf aufbauend folgt ein kurzer Uberblick uber die Vorgehensweise bei der Anwendung der Prozesskostenrechnung. Das folgende Kapitel nennt die unterschiedlichen Ziele und Aufgabenfelder der Prozesskostenrechnung innerhalb eines Unternehmens. Anschlie end werden verschiedene Moglichkeiten aufgezeigt, die Kostenpotenziale und Ineffizienzen mithilfe der Prozesskostenhilfe zu identifizieren. Die Arbeit schlie t mit einer kurzen Zusammenfassung und Schlussbetrachtung.

Bachelor Thesis from the year 2015 in the subject American Studies - Linguistics, grade: 1,7, , language: English, abstract: This text is a detailed analysis of the most valuable word plays and their underlying types of word formation in "e;How I Met Your Mother"e;. It puts special focus on the combination of different word formations being involved at the same time. "e;How I Met Your Mother"e; often abbreviated to HIMYM is an American sitcom that follows a non-linear story in which the life of five friends living in New York is described. As a framing device the main character Ted Mosby tells his children how he met their mother. Using retrospective view he recounts in how far different actions and events in his and his friends past finally made him get to meet his future wife. His narration covers a time of 25 years and is told throughout eight seasons in 208 episodes. Throughout the story different kinds of linguistic word formations are used, often in types of puns and word plays to create humorous situations. Especially Barney Stinson, one of Ted Mosby s best friends uses recurring puns by inventing new terms which he uses over and over again throughout the story.

Examination Thesis from the year 2016 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Linguistics, grade: 2,0, , language: English, abstract: At first glance, internet memes seem to be the humorous part of our digital culture. Indeed, they are! But they also reveal stereotypical thinking, which I will focus on in my analysis. This analysis will investigate thoroughly internet memes from a linguistic viewpoint. Starting from Richard Dawkins' definition via Susan Blackmore's third replicator theory through to Limor Shifman's critical approach about the state of research concerning memes, Internet memes are also examined from a communication-oriented view. Successful Black Man, Successful White Man, Ordinary Muslim Man and High Expectation Asian Father serve as a basis for my analysis. A combination of Semiotic Analysis and Discourse Analysis is used in order to examine the selected examples. Both methods were chosen because Internet memes involve written texts as well as signs or images which contain invisible meaning. All results taken together, this thesis will show that Internet memes are still interpreted stereotypically in our multicultural present-day society.

Seminar paper from the year 2012 in the subject Didactics for the subject English - Pedagogy, Literature Studies, grade: 2,0, Saarland University, language: English, abstract: Motivation in second language learning is an increasingly important area in applied linguistics. The current state of research is characterized by many different approaches, which have developed over time. Today there are still divided views about motivation. The social psychological approach dominated until the early 1990s. Criticized, later supplemented and eventually replaced by pedagogical and psychological concepts. In order to understand the importance of motivation in second language learning it is important to look at different types of motivation after clarifying the definition of the term 'motivation' used in the text below. This paper has been divided into three parts. First, I will give a definition of the term motivation. Then I will focus on different kinds of motivation, especially the distinctions between motivation regarding learning in general by Deci and Ryan and motivation especially in language learning by Gardner. Finally, the practical part deals with motivation in second language classroom in Saarland. Thus, the main question addressed in this paper is: How important is motivation in second language learning?

This essay has been organized in the following way. First, this paper gives a brief overview of the recent history of Hip Hop. Second, it deals with Hip Hop Fashion and Style in general in relation to coolness. Finally, the last chapter assesses the Hip Hop Coolness. The main methods of research I employed in my study were participant observation, one-to-one interviews and group discussions on set themes.
