Jennifer Canvasser – författare

In this issue of Clinics in Perinatology, guest editors Drs. Ravi Patel and Misty Good, along with Jennifer Canvasser, MSW, bring their considerable expertise to the topic of Necrotizing Enterocolitis. Despite decades of research, NEC continues to be a leading cause of death between two weeks and two months of age in extremely preterm infants. The clinical reviews in this issue focus on novel mechanisms, promising treatments, health equity, imaging modalities, and post-discharge care, reflecting the urgent need for multidisciplinary approaches and innovations in prevention, diagnosis, and management.
