Preparing today's medical students, residents, and practicing physicians for careers in the changing health care system requires more than clinical skills. Faculty must help medical students develop skills in adaptive learning so that tomorrow’s physicians are those who continually learn, adjust, and innovate as new information and best practices evolve. Part of the AMA MedEd Innovation Series, The Master Adaptive Learner, 2nd Edition, is an instructor-focused guide covering models for how to train and teach future clinicians who need to develop these adaptive skills and utilize them throughout their careers. This fully revised edition reflects recent changes in this growing field with more evidence-based content, new pedagogical features, and new coverage of practical application methodology throughout.
